Kitty Goes Home
An update to my crazy story from Saturday:
On Monday afternoon, the Hagerstown City Police called Matt and said that Connor’s parents would like to come take their kitten. Matt agreed to let them come over and take the kitten. He didn’t really have a choice, actually. Since the parents also had the kitten’s Mommy, we definitely agreed that it was best for the kitten. I was not around to meet these people so all of the rest of the story is second-hand from Matt.
Evidently, Connor’s parents just got Connor home from CPS on Monday afternoon!!!! They claimed that while his mother was at work, Dad fell asleep on the couch. Apparently, Dad just got a new job during the day in addition to his evening fire-fighting shift. As expected, Dad was very sleepy and he fell asleep. Around this time, Connor decided that he was bored and took the kitten from its liter and Dad’s Oakley sunglasses and let himself out of the house. The rest of the story you know from my previous blog… Nonetheless, Connor’s parents seemed relieved that we had helped get him home and they were thankful that we took good care of the kitty while they were not around. According to Connor’s Mom, the mother cat has been searching the house for her baby. The story ends rather well. The babies both go home. New locks, including deadbolts have been installed at Connor’s house.
