Pharmacy and Water Meet!

I feel like Matt and I made the front page of CNN today!

Prescription drugs found in drinking water across the U.S.

Matt works 24/7 to ensure safe drinking water to the town of Hagerstown. I am 2 months shy of graduating from pharmacy school. See how a story about prescription drugs being found in drinking water relates to Matt and me? I think this is so neat. I wonder what other things we can find trace elements of in our drinking water? Perhaps Matt and I can play off of this new hysteria and make a killing. If you don’t see us for a month or so, it’s because we are in our basement designing a membrane filter that traps drug metabolites that are in the PARTS PER BILLION! Honestly, I wonder how many gallons of water would be necessary for one to consume to even see an effect of these drug particles?
