A break in Pharmacy to worship the SNOW GODS!
The snow isn’t there yet, but it will be by the time we take our vacation!!! YES, that is right. Matt’s Mom hooked us up and helped to get us a winter vacation to Mount Snow, VT. Although it’s not 100% set it stone (more like 94%), we have plans to head up North during the 2nd week of February. I get to spend another snow-filled, skiing-packed, romantic, celebratory Valentines-Birthday week in Vermont. As you may notice, we are a bit excited by this trip already. We have plans to stay at a timeshare townhouse about 3 miles from the Mount Snow resort. We are already getting our warmest gear ready (average highs in the low 30’s) and figuring out what new/used gear we will need. The game plan for our trip includes skiing all day long. There is no night skiing in VT (something about frostbite…). Then, hitting ski-pubs at night. Ahhhhhh, nothing like a good cold beer after a hard days’ skiing. We have a few other options aside from skiing such as snowmobiling (a very fun and fitting activity for my husband and me), cross-country skiing (my arse hurts just thinking of it), snowshoeing (I feel like we shouldn’t be doing this activity without Eve, our makeshift husky), and also horse-drawn sleigh rides through the snow-covered hills of VT (HINT, HINT to Matt: This would make an excellent Valentine’s Day gift). I am sure you will hear about this trip again before we even go and then tons more after we get back. This is rare out of my cold-blooded body, but “Come on SNOW!”
