A sick puppy
For the past two days, Eve has been a sick little puppy. Sadly, we have not been able to figure out what is wrong with her. She started feeling bad about 2 days ago and she just laid on the floor and whimpered. Her ears which were almost standing straight up went flat. Matt and I thought for the first half of the day that she was maybe depressed and teething. Then, she started this howl/whimper thing that she does when she has injured herself. So, she’ll be laying still and out of nowhere start the whimper. At this point, Matt and I thought that perhaps she had hurt herself by pulling a muscle or something of the sort. There seems to be no place on her that is sensitive to touch. We decided last night, after she showed no interest in playing with the other puppies in her class, that she should probably go to the vet. She has an appointment this morning. We are hoping that its something like an ear infection and her teething. I’ll update.
