Update since the honeymoon
OK, OK, everyone can stop whining now. I will update this blog. I am sorry. I’ve been busy! 
We returned home from our honeymoon and it hasn’t really slowed down. To update: the night that we came home from the airport, we walked into our house and smelled fresh paint. When we got upstairs, the door to our unfinished guest room was closed with a big bow on it. When we opened the door, we were met with this beautiful room. Britt and Bob came over while we were on the honeymoon and completely made over our old ugly Winnie the Pooh guest room. It was so nice to have the room done and it is beautiful.
Matt and I spent a lot of time unwinding, unpacking, going back to work, and trying to catch up for the next few weeks. Married life so far has been rather similar to the life that Matt and I were already leading.
I have been in the process of getting all the correct paperwork turned in for my name change. Officially, I am now Beth Marie Carr.
One night last week, my parents called and asked if Matt and I would disappear for a few hours because they had something they needed to drop off at the house and it was a surprise. When we got home from our disappearing act, we found this. The rocking chairs are chairs that my Mom bought for her house awhile ago and I fell in love with them, but we couldn’t afford them. I was so excited to have the chairs, shades, and the new carpet on the porch. Having the porch finished off like this makes it feel like a new room added on the house.
