Surprise Bridal Shower
My Mom invited Matt and I over to an early Easter dinner on Saturday night. I really should have pieced together all the hints I was getting from EVERYONE that something was going on that didn’t involve an Easter dinner. But, hindsight is always 20/20. So, I didn’t know and when we arrived LATE to my Mom’s house (it was a traffic jam, I swear it), there were a lot of people that I love in my house. It was a surprise tropical (Costa Rican) style bridal shower. It was such a lovely event and I had such a nice time. Everyone that came either got me something off of our registry or something for the honeymoon (wink, wink). I got a TON of stuff and this explains why so many people were out there buying stuff off the registry so soon! Thank you to everyone who came to the shower and brought me all those wonderful gifts and wonderful smiles. I was actually so flabbergasted that I really didn’t know what to say most of the night. But, thank you to everyone. You guys pretty much bought out our entire registry before the actual wedding! We are adding a few more things to the registry, but as of now, we probably will just stick with one place of registration. No need to ask for a bunch of stuff that we won’t use much.
Invites are in the mail!!!! I cannot wait to start getting all the responses back to me. I can’t believe we are down to 2 months and less than a week. WOW, that went so fast. Again, I love you all and thank you so much for making my bridal shower extra special.
